Step 1: Generating Discord Bot URL
Login to your Discord account through which the Discord Bot was created. Once inside the account, navigate to OAuth2 option on the left sidebar, and click on the option 'URL Generator' under that.
The URL Generator option will open a corresponding screen on the right window. Look for the option 'bot' and select it for further action.
When the 'bot' option is clicked, there will be multiple permissions to be set. Scroll down the page, and select the actions that you would want your Discord bot to perform. Some of the standard actions have been shown as marked in the reference image below.
Once all the actions have been selected for the respective Discord bot, scroll further down copy the URL generated therefore. Save this URL as this would be required to be submitted to AI personality account on Kamoto.AI.
Step 2: Linking the Discord Bot to the AI Personality Page
Now that the URL has been successfully generated for the Discord bot of the AI personality, we would now need to submit that URL to the AI personality account. This will add the Discord Bot link directly on to the AI personality's profile page and make the Discord bot easy accessible for all. Let's dive into the steps involved in doin so:
Copy the URL generated using the above course of action. Now, login to your Kamoto.AI account an navigate to Dashboard. Look for the option 'Communicate & Engage' on the left sidebar and click on the Messenger Bots option under it.
As soon as you click on 'Messenger Bots, the right window will show the Discord Bot integration steps. On step 3 you will find an option to ad Discord Bot URL. Paste the copied URL in the provided field and click on the 'Save' button to lock it.
In order to check its successful integration, go to your AI personality's profile page and you will the Discord Bot integrated and displayed successfully on the page.
